Dallas Reading and Language Services Announces Expansion
To Larger Office Space to Support Growth, Better Serve Clients

waiting room(DALLAS, June 25, 2015)
Dallas Reading and Language Services, Inc., a leading provider of speech-language therapy and reading programs for North Texas, announces their relocation to new and larger office space to accommodate rapid growth and future expansion plans. The larger office space, located at 1005 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 300 in Dallas, will provide an increased capacity for client service by better enabling them to provide the necessary space and staff to better meet the communications and literacy needs of the children they serve.

“Our new office space will allow us to increase our capabilities in providing the quality care that each of our clients have come to expect from us,” says Rachel Betzen, M.A., CCC/SLP, the clinic’s founder. “The larger space allows us to expand our team to better support the growth we are experiencing while giving us larger and more functional facilities to continue to meet the needs of each child we serve.”

Our team is excited about the growth we are experiencing and this move represents our commitment to continue to build on the success our team has already accomplished in serving the needs of children in the Dallas area.”

Dallas Reading and Language Services has been a leading provider of speech-language therapy and reading programs in North Texas since their founding by Rachel Betzen in 2005. They are unique among North Texas speech therapy and language service providers for their focus on working with lower socio-economic families, as well as middle class and higher income families.

Today, Dallas Reading and Language Services offers services on a sliding scale basis for private pay families. They also accept Medicaid and some insurance plans.

Ms. Betzen says she and her staff believe in the abilities of the children they work with and always seek to meet the individual needs of each child to bring even faster results. Accordingly, she says, their students perform well, many reaching the point where their speech-language and reading skills catch up to their grade level.

“Our motto is, ‘Embrace the Amazing in Every Child,’” says Ms. Betzen. “To help students accept their gifts, as well as develop skills to move their challenges, we combine traditional speech-language therapy with reading programs. Treatment is highly individualized for each student. We use reading programs for decoding, comprehension, and spelling/reading fluency.”
